Kiko welcomes donabe expert and author, chef Naoko Takei Moore, for a special one-night-only guest chef dinner alongside Kiko’s chef and co-owner, Alex Chang. Centered on the art of cooking in a donabe, a traditional Japanese clay pot prized for its heat retention and ability to transform simple ingredients into deeply flavorful dishes, guests can expect cuisine rooted in tradition yet expressed through a modern lens, with an emphasis on warmth, texture and layered flavor.

The evening will feature a collaborative 4-course tasting menu + welcome snacks from chefs Moore and Chang, inspired by recipes from Moore’s book, Simply Donabe. An optional sake pairing from Kiko’s sommelier and co-owner, Lina Goujjane, will be available. A copy of Simply Donabe is included in the ticket price.
